We would like to invite all our patients and any other interested people to our Open Day and Official Opening of our refurbished building on Wednesday November 12 from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm with the official opening at 2.30 pm performed by Mr Robert Ball and Councillor Carol Walker, Mayor of Bakewell. This gives everyone the opportunity for a quick look around the new facilities we have and we look forward to seeing you. Extended Opening Hours With effect from 4th August we will be open for an additional three hours per week to improve our access to patients. This will involve a late night opening on a Monday from 6.30-8.30 pm and an early morning once a week from 7.00 a.m. rotated between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Dr Love will do most Monday evenings and all four Doctors will rotate on the early mornings. These are all extra appointments over and above the existing ones available. Whilst the surgery will be open, and surgeries running, the telephones and emergency cover will still be dealt with by Derbyshire Health United, the out of hours provider. The appointments will all be pre-bookable and we would prefer that these are left for those who work during the day or for anyone else who is unable to attend in the daytime. Please remember that anyone can pre book with the Doctor of their choice for up to two weeks in advance during the daytime.
