Treatment in the home
If a bee sting
- Remove it with a clean pair of tweezers, or if you have no tweezers ease it out with a fingernail. Try to avoid squeezing the poison sac at the end of the sting.
- Apply some antihistamine cream or dab on a solution of bicarbonate of soda or some other alkaline solution
If a wasp or an ant sting
- Apply antihistamine cream or dab on some vinegar or some citrus juice (e.g. orange juice)
