Certificates and Forms
These vary depending upon the type of form and the amount of information requested. Most fees are nationally agreed between the British Medical Association and Insurance Companies. Following a ruling by HM Revenue and Customs many fees now attract VAT. If you require any clarification please email us or ask at Reception.

Private Prescriptions
Certain drugs for specific conditions may not be available on the NHS but your GP may be able to provide these by providing you with a private prescription. In these cases there will be a charge for the actual paper prescription itself and a charge for the cost of the drugs-these are normally significantly higher than the normal prescription charge which is heavily subsidised by the NHS. Prices are calculated at the time of provision of the drugs in line with the current commercial cost of the drugs to the Practice.
